Norris Dam:

1. Read through your group’s primary sources.  Fill out the handout to help you remember your thoughts.

2. Discuss the sources with the members of your group.  Based on the sources decide if Norris Dam should be constructed?   

3. Pick the two sources you think best show if Norris Dam should or should not be built.  Not everyone in the group needs to pick the same documents.

4. When instructed to do so by your teacher, form a new group.  Take turns showing the group the two sources you picked and explaining your support or opposition for the dam.

5. Come to a consensus as a group.  This time pick two documents as a group that best support your reasoning.

6. Have one or two members of your group present these two documents to the class and explain your group's decision.
